WARRANTY
Utmost care is taken in making each individual Chic and Hall Fine piece of jewellery; however, we are human so manufacturing faults can happen. Our warranty covers all manufacturing faults on a piece for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase and if a manufacturing fault is found this will be repaired at no cost to you.
Chic and Hall Fine Jewellery will repair or offer replacement items for a piece exhibiting a manufacturing defect during the 3-month warranty period. Please contact us via info@chicandhall.com.au if you have any problems with your piece.
All other damage/wear including everyday wear and tear, damage to diamonds/gemstones or other forms of damage are not covered by our warranty. Wear and tear is not considered a fault and as such is not covered by our warranty.
Manufacturing Faults do not include the following:
– General wear and tear.
– Damage from improper care or negligence.
– Broken/bent claws or prongs.
– Pieces that are scratched, bent or misshaped.
– Chipped, cracked, broken or lost gemstones.
– Any work including resizes and repairs undertaken by another jeweller.
– Chains that are stretched or pulled inappropriately resulting in broken links.
– Any inclusions found within Gemstones are not considered damage as they are a part of the natural growth process created in the formation of the stone itself.
Although diamonds & gemstones are hard, they can be broken, chipped or lost if not carefully cared for. Gemstones/diamonds that have come loose, damaged or lost due to damage are not covered under warranty.
All of our pieces are made from precious metals including gold, platinum amongst others. These metals need to be cared for as they are much softer than many other objects used in everyday life. You can scratch or damage the metal by picking up steel or other hard objects or hitting the piece on hard surfaces. Scratches and other forms of damage to the piece are not covered by our warranty.
Please note that if any other jeweller undertakes work on one of our pieces, including resizing, repairs or alterations this warranty will be voided. We do not take any responsibility for repairs or resizes undertaken by other jewellers.
Jewellery can easily be damaged, lost or stolen and as such we strongly encourage all of our clients to insure their jewellery with an adequate insurance policy. Ensure your insurance policy covers you for accidental damage to your piece, loss and theft. It is also wise to keep records of your jewellery including photos of the pieces.
This warranty is for the original owner of the piece and is not transferrable.
